‘Church’ means the people of God, not the building. Our desire as a church is to know and love God better and to grow in numbers, as we walk in the fear of the Lord and the Holy Spirit’s encouragement (Acts 9v31). God grows his church as we make disciples by prayerfully proclaiming his word and baptising new believers. We gather to hear God's word explained, to celebrate the Lord’s Supper and to pray together, developing friendships as partners in the gospel.
Church is not the building... but having a building helps us to do these core things together and to run activities for children and adults that introduce them to the message and members of the church.
God-willing, we plan to build a new main hall and lobby on the side of the existing hall, able to accommodate 260 people. Finally we hope to connect the new building with the existing hall and substantially redevelop the existing facility to improve the kitchen, office and storage facilities.
Our vision is to have a building that doubles our capacity whilst retaining our present focus and approach. In faith, we look to God to fill a new building, just as he filled our previous building, all for his renown in our community.
